Bennetts, the bike insurance providers are confirmed as title sponsor of the world’s leading domestic Superbike series for the fourth consecutive year and will continue to be known as Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
Mark Fell, Bennetts Marketing Director feels that the new relationship with Jonathan Palmer’s Motorsport Vision Group will provide a solid partnership for future success. He said “The future for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship looks extremely promising. We’re really excited about our additional sponsorship activities to further increase the value of the series, such as having James Toseland present at key events throughout the year. We’re looking forward to successful partnership with Motorsport Vision and hope that we can help to further boost the profile of our domestic series.”
Jonathan Palmer, the Chief Executive of Motorsport Vision said “I am delighted that Bennetts will be continuing as the title sponsor of 2008 British Superbike Championship. i think this is a bad idea. I only have freeview in my home and enjoy following the bsb results and watching the races. And channel 4 is showing it at 1:10am! Don’t they know people go to sleep before that time to get up for work the next day.

A major British championship, followed by thousands of avid fans and respected all around the world. 1:10am ! Oh well, better than nothing i suppose.
