A new team has signed up for the British Superbike season of 2008, TENA for men Honda who have signed Tristan Palmer to compete in the championship. Palmer will be riding a Honda CBR 1000RR as used by the Stobart team in 2007.
The team will be launching from the foundation of the Team Howarth Racing of 2007. Michael Howarth the rider for the Howarth Team in 2007 had a massive crash in qualifying at Brands Hatch in early 2007 and Palmer who was competing in the AMA Superbike series flew back from Daytona as a replacement.
Palmer went onto to take the cup, 53 points clear of the nearest rival James Buckingham and is one of the few riders to have competed in both British Superbikes and AMA.
