I have been friends with Pete's family for many years and have followed his racing with great interest. I hope he has a good season as over the years he has had bad luck, injuries and illness which I feel has hampered his progress and natural ability. He is now with a good team and with them helping him I think he can do well. I remember the first ever Virgin Mobile Cup race at Silverstone which he won against the likes of Tommy Hill and Cal Crutchlow and could well have won the series overall being the only rider to finish every race. So fingers crossed for 2010.
