The Worx Crescent Suzuki rider Yukio Kagayama is to miss this weekends round of the British Superbike championship after suffering a broken hand at the last round at Mallory Park.
The Japanese rider crashed out early in the first race at Mallory after returning to the series following the fractured vertebrae he received when he crashed at Oulton Park.
Kagayama took the decision to rest the injury this weekend to enable himself to be fit for Snetterton in two-weeks time. It is the third round that the team have had only one rider on the grid with Kagayama finishing with only one top ten finish so far this season.
